Just setup my first campaign in Facebook for the business. Have to say it was straightforward and really liked the ability to target keywords. Have targetted my adverts to keywords that may match on the decision makers in businesses (owners, managing directors, marketing directors etc. The ads should display to these potential customers, according to facebook there are 32000 odd possible users that will see this, so fingers crossed they all buy a website ;-)
Just uploaded the first of a collection of Free ASP.NET custom controls that I intend to write to http://www.directhost.co.uk/free-asp-net-controls.htm. The control is an easy (easier) way to add a Google Map to and ASP.NET page. The control uses V3 of the Google API. Had originally intended to upload and sell via CodeCanyon, but their upload mechanism needs some serious attention ;-)

The iPad, long rumored is here. I succumbed to the iPhone 18 months ago and there is absolutely no doubt that given enough money I will in 60 days time be sitting with an iPad. But the name, surely some more thought was needed…..
Just put the new website live. Taken days of my life, and numerous spins round my Spotify playlist, but finally the site is up. Andy has cast his eye over my design efforts and apart from some tweaks that I will put in place over the next few weeks I can relax (albeit for a day or two).
Next site to build is one for Heritage Cars of Cumbria, which should arrive for me to do my HTML magic with in a couple of days, after that I’ve got the ticket website to put together for Martin and So What? next 80’s night in April.
